They really go above and beyond to make dreams come true. I have been going there as well as my friends and family for 3 years and just always get taken care of.
There attitudes are so compassionate there like our family there truly the best. Usually this place has amazing employees and great customer service.
But recently, the last two times my fiance or I have come in to get a ring fixed has been met with attitude, frustration and snarky comments.
This gentleman, though I can’t remember his name, had extreme attitude.

Before I even spoke to him, he looked up from the computer made eye contact with me and looked down immediately. I approached the display cases and he still pretended not to acknowledge me.
Finally when I said something, he had more attitude. While this was going on, another lady walked in and stood for 5 minutes before she said something about being noticed.
Which the gentleman working gave her the most insincere apology of not acknowledgment. Further pissing her off and me feeling uncomfortable.
Even the other associate in store wasnt much help, and had some attitude when the gentleman helping me asked her a question.

And I hope that this is met with some type of coaching for the associates that way other potential buyers have a better time. The person assisting me, Carmen, was very helpful answering all my questions as I searched for a gold bracelet.
Zales didn’t have exactly what I was looking for so Carmen checked the computer to see what was available online and she printed out data on a couple of bracelets.
She explained the value of other bracelets in stock but I appreciate that she understood what I wanted. I value that she took a consultative approach and didn’t try to force a sale.
She’s going to do some research and get back to me. Even if she ultimately is unable to locate the bracelet I’m looking for, Carmen still deserves to be recognized for great customer service.
There was a guy on the phone who stared as us blankly and couldn’t even manage a quick smile or a slight welcoming gesture.

He has no idea what he’s doing and now my ring has been being repaired for 3 weeks now and they say it’s going to take another week to finish.
Never has this happened even when i needed a bigger diamond replaced. I only needed a very small diamond on the ring band to be replaced so I’m not understanding why it takes a month to be fixed when its usually done in 2 weeks tops.
The valley fair zales needs to fire their newer employees or teach them how to work in customer service and know atleast some knowledge in jewelry and zales polices.

If I come in here again I will not want her help me. My husband took me here to surprise me for our 5 year anniversary. I picked out a diamond band and Jesse helped us.
Not only did he give us an incredible deal but he was friendly, funny and great to talk to. He explained how the jewelry can yellow over time from the oils on your hands and how it’s important to get it cleaned and dipped- which is covered in their jewelry policy.
Jesse made the experience enjoyable and fun and after checking around the other stores in the mall we ended up here. He gave us by far he best deal on the ring I wanted but more than that his customer service was the best.
We will definitely be back to this store in the future! Always come here for my wife ring inspection or cleaning.

I walked away without making a purchase because if this is how long they make potential customers wait, they must not need my business.

We ordered a custom piece for my daughter’s 18th birthday using their sizing chart we ordered the ring The Ring does not fit it came to us a size or two larger then the sizing chart stated customer service refused 2 help rectify and even insulted my wife Great experience!
Must ask for Ben when you visit, I know he is probably the manager and at times managers need to be free of always being in front of customers all day – so they can perform store operations.
BUT, Ben is the man. Ordered a ring online and with shipping issues and delays it would arrive after Xmas. Came to the store where they had it in stock and he said right away, ‘buy it so you can give it to her on Xmas then when the other arrives come back and your welcome to return it to us’.
Not a lot of retailers will be that open and helpful about returns these days – with all the online competition, within the brand and outside of it.
